So I walk into the store earlier in the week where I am greeted by the door greeter. I was doing my weekly grocery shopping where I couldn't find an item in stock. I ask an employee wearing a green vest named Rhonda and when I asked her when the item would be available she responded to me with a rude tone. Then when I proceeded to checkout, I had to scan the items once and then again because the cashiers weren't doing there job right. I had to wait 5 minutes so they could get another employee to cancel the transaction. I will never be visiting this Sam's club again. Terrible service and terrible employees.
Experience with tire shop would have been comedy gold had it not been real life. bought tires, left for work while they were putting tires on. I get a call saying they can't get a lug nut off. So, I go buy a ratchet and socket and drive 10 miles back to this Sam's during my work hours. walk right up to the "stuck" lug nut and it comes right off with no effort....but things happen right? had to come back because one tire was defective. they didn't have a replacement so they had to order it. Of course the list my info and never called to let me know the replacement was there. After calling to find out what was taking so long ordering the tire, they let me know they had plenty of them in stock. Asked if I needed to make an appointment to get the tire replaced and was told that wasn't necessary. Showed up the next day to get tire replaced, told they couldn't do it because they only had one person working the tire shop. Scheduled an appointment this time...and when I finally get the replacement tire they try and charge a second installation fee. By this time I'm raising holy hell after all I've been through. Explained it was their fault they installed an obviously defective tire (giant bulge in sidewall) and that there was no way I was paying a second install fee. Dude copped an attitude when I asked to talk to a manager, smart ass remark about the manager saying the same thing.
I just had an Angus Cheeseburger at the Sam's cafe. It was precooked meat that was overcooked and dry with charred edges after being sent through the pizza conveyor oven for a second cooking. It had a piece of cheese that was about 1.5" X 2.5" with some bacon sliced so thin you could hardly notice it. Both were put through the pizza oven with the meat. The only trimmings available were mustard, ketchup, and pickle relish. I like Sam's cafe. I love the hot dogs with sauerkraut and mustard, the pizza slices, and the frozen yogurt. But I think I'll avoid the warmed over cheeseburgers from now on.
This was my first experience with Sam's Club. I bought a membership so I could order pinwheel wraps for an occasion. On the website it clearly looks as if this could be ordered on line with 24 hours notice, including the ability to select a pick up time. I drove approximately 40 miles one way to get to the Sam's nearest me that says they do food. As I was walking in the door, I got a notice that my order had been canceled. No reason was given. The manager stated I was supposed to have come in person the day before to make this type of order. So, I am at a loss to know why it shows an on line order option. The sad thing is that had I known I could easily have come in. Luckily Kroger was able to help me out of this last minute bind. They were more expensive but a deal is only a deal if you ACTUALLY get it. I will not be shopping Sam's ever again.
Went to sams club today since forever and we decided to get pizza. I ask for a supreme pizza and I guess she thought I meant a slice, so when she said a slice of pizza I was like oh no I meant a whole pizza. I apologize and her response was "it's fine I just have to return it". I handed a 20 from the beginning and she only gave me 4 dollars and it cost 11 something. I was looking at the receipt and I was like this isn't right I paid her $15. I was the only one ordering so it's not like she was in a hurry or anything but I was patience with her. I told my mom and my mom went back up there and was extremely nice, but yet the girl with the glasses was rude to her too. She took her 20 out of the register and laid it next to it and told my mom she owed $11.73 and my mom had to reach over and get the $20 next to her. My mom was still nice even though she was being rude and handed her the $20, than she finally gave her the right amount. We mention her bad serive to another employee and she said she would report It.
I gave two stars for the simple fact the management here knows what they are doing and have experience with customer satisfaction issues. The manager made things right, but the whole ordeal was a great big pile of BS. It really concerns me my wife is driving around on tires installed by people that don't understand how to remove lug nuts or spot defective tires or care so little about their customers.
