Would definitely recommend the doctor if he found a more compassion nurse.
I went here twice with my girlfriend for her to be seen for an issue with her throat. I will say Dr. Kirsch was very nice, but the nursing staff here is HORRIBLE. On our first visit the nurse while trying to get her medical history asked "who follows you?" asking about who her primary care physician is. When we did not understand what she meant when she asked "who follows you?" the nurse got an attitude that was belittling toward us rather than just asking the question in a more standard way. On our second visit we were called from the waiting area very quickly but the nurse did not even attempt to pronounce my girlfriend's name instead just saying, "ma'am we are ready for you." Luckily, we she was the only female waiting other wise we would not have known they were calling for her. When the nurse took us back to the exam room all she said was that the doctor would be in shortly. After over an hour of sitting in the freezing cold (I'm not one to even get cold easily) exam room I finally stepped out to ask the nurses how much longer they thought we might have to wait because no one had ever came in to even check on us. The nurse stated with a slightly rude attitude that the doctor had an emergency and was taking longer than expected with another patient, but we could leave if we needed to. I'm not sure why they could not have told us that sometime during that hour of us sitting back there so we would at least know what was going on. We decided to leave since we were simply there for a follow up anyway. As we were walking out the nurse even more rudely with a smart attitude said "well if you're leaving at least let us know" as if us walking out the door was not letting them know after I just asked and you said we could leave if needed, even though they could not have the decency to let us know why we had been waiting so long. They never even apologized for our wait. The nurses here obviously do not care at all about the patients nor do they care about presenting a professional demeanor. I would never recommend this place to anyone unless the doctor gets some new nurses who know how to treat the patients.
Dr. Kirsch is a fabulous doctor and took the time to make sure I understood everything. His staff treated me with courtesy and respect.
The doctor was really nice, but his nurse all but accused me of just wanting pain pills. She would not even send an appropriate doctors excuse to my company. Even though the doctor advised me to not even drive my own vehicle. I was there to have my pain fixed and even the doctor said there was a 99% chance that it was cancer.
W/o my ever go back because of her.
Dr. Kirsch made fixing my severely deviated septum as easy and painless as possible. 6 weeks post op and I am quite literally smelling the roses for the first time in my life. I cannot thank him enough for what he has done for me and my quality of life. I highly recommend him for any ENT needs. Thanks Doc!
If I could give this place zero stars I would. The Dr is not the problem. He actually was really nice and pretty cool. The staff is what I have a problem with. And for that reason I will not return nor will I recommend going here to anyone. The first time I went here the nurse was asking me some questions and asked me "Who follows you?"... I had no idea what that meant. Most people that don't work in the medical field do not know what that means. So I paused and was trying to figure out what she meant and before I could she rudely said again "Who follows you???" Instead of wording it differently so that I better understood what she meant. I mean clearly she had to have noticed I didn't know what she meant. The second time I went here for a follow-up. I arrived 10 minutes ahead of my appointment time. Was called back 5 minutes after sitting in the waiting room by a seemingly cold nurse. She didn't greet me or the other female that she called back before me. So me and my boyfriend are sitting in the room for well over an hour waiting for the Dr. My boyfriend decided he is going to simply ask someone if they know how much longer the Dr would be. She then tells him that the Dr had an emergency and that he would be in asap. But NOBODY had the common decency to come in the room and inform us of this. The people they have working here are not people friendly. They showed us no courtesy. I'm from Philadelphia btw and I'm used to RUDE people like that where I'm from but shocked to have dealt with it here where the people are much nicer. But I guess no matter where you go you always have to deal with ill-mannered people.
