Receptionist and nurses are the WORST. Take messages on simple request that they could handle in 10 minutes or ask you to make an appointment then take all day to get back with you or not at all. Takes all day to get a refill request or records faxed basically anything other than an appointment to rush you in and out of $$$ took me 3 days once and 25 copay to get a fmla paper signed on a diagnosis i had for over a yr that had started interferring with work. Took me 2 weeks of phone tag to get a refill once bc they wouldnt deal with the clerical hang up and kept asking me to mediate between the pharmacy who then did the same thing. It was a nightmare. They don't care. No compassion. Every interaction I've had I've not felt acknowledged or like a person, more like a nuisance. Only reason I'm hanging in is dr long is amazing.

He argued with me instead of reading my medical records, took my money yet wouldn't prescribe ANYTHING AT ALL or give me a list of psychiatrists, to help me get over my severe attacks that are causing insomnia. He wouldn't do my blood work, wouldn't even try to help me in any way & just stormed out of the room. He is the most inconsiderate Dr that I've ever came across & I will be filing a report with the state medical board for malpractice. He should have tried to help, not just take my money & run.
Saw Dr. massey for a year for a diagnosis that I have had since I was a child and never have had problems until I started seeing her. HUGE waste of time and money.
Dr. Long is amazing. He has been my PCP for 4 years, and he has always taken great care of me! I had to see Dr. Lea a couple of times because Dr. Long already had a booked schedule, and he is AWFUL! His bedside manner is great, he's a nice guy, but he has misdiagnosed me more than once, tells me to come back if things aren't better, I go back 2 weeks later, and he treats me as if I am drug-seeking.. I AM HAVING BREATHING PROBLEMS, what drugs could I possibly be seeking?! Anyway, I do recommend Dr. Long, but Dr. Lea is a joke- please don't waste your time or money.. you'll be just as sick, if not sicker, a month after seeing him!
This man, Dr. Lea, allowed me to make an appointment, not having any psychiatrists in my area, to help get me back on my medication which is truly needed! My anxiety is so bad that it's noticeable when I simply carry on a conversation. Dr Lea was a complete jerk!
I have recently went through some horrible, stressful situations causing severe panic attacks & insomnia. I made an appointment to be seen by Dr. Lea (as even his nurses know there's an extreme shortage on psychiatrists) & I'm left without medication for 2 months now & my attacks are getting much worse.
Recently had a wellness visit with Dr. Lea. He was very nice and went into detail about everything he was doing and talking about. The lab nurses were extreamly nice and made you feel very comfortable.
I recently became a patient of Dr. Lea & have NEVER been treated so badly in my life, from a Dr. Or anyone for that matter. I have quite a few medical problems including anxiety with panic attacks which started when I was 12 & I'm 39 now. After trying a huge variety of medications, I was prescribed Xanax around age 13 & it's always worked for me. Since switching to Dr. Lea as my PCP he has insisted that I go to a psychiatrist for my anxiety disorder & refuses to give me my medication. I've tried to get in with a psychiatrist to fix this problem because I'm having panic attacks constantly without having medication for it. No ones taking new patients though. I live an hour from Dr. Lea's office, each way.
If you're needing a primary care physician, TRUST ME.....you don't want him! He is very negligent & obviously doesn't care about his patients.
