Dr. Routh and staff are wonderful! I will always take my pets there!
Dr. Hartman and staff are the best. Have been taking my precious pets there for years. Great Vet. Kind, caring. My animals know they're in good hands. The entire staff is wonderful. They know how special your little friends are too you.
They are wonderful from the receptionist to the vet, the only place I'd take my fur babies.
I’ve waited a year to post this review. I wanted to let myself move on from the anger I felt and I wanted to make sure that in a year time, I still wanted to write this review. In September of 2016 I got two Pomeranians. I took them to Hartman based on the recommendation of a few friends. From my first visit to my last visit, I never really felt welcomed. The ladies up front didn’t seem to make an effort to connect with me by learning my name, the boys’ names or even hint at remotely remembering me. I had a few visits with getting the puppy shots and buying their monthly pills over the span of four months. I called them one morning concerned about a cough that one of my Pomeranians had (they had just gone to doggy daycare the week before). I was told it was probably nothing since their shots were up to date. While this may have been true, there was no attempt to make me feel better or even an offer for me to bring the pup up there for a check. The last straw was in January 2017 when I got the boys’ neutered. This resulted in an overnight stay that happened to occur on the only snow/ice day Conway got. The bill, as you can image was around $600 by time you added in the cone, meds and operation for two. It would have been nice to see a small discount as I had both dogs done, but no, which isn’t mandatory, but would have been a nice gesture. However, that isn’t what set me off. When the staff brought the boys to me, no one offered to help me get them out to the waiting car. Here I had two puppies, wearing cones, that just had surgery the day before, had stitches and there is snow/ice on the ground. Somehow, I managed to get them to the car. I then noticed they both had poop smeared in their fur and on their cones. The fact that my two boys had to sit in their own poop because they weren’t being cared for, completely infuriated me. At that point, I have never returned to Hartman, nor did the staff ever call to check on them. I seem to be in the minority here on the experience, which is good. However, this was my experience. I will say that I never met Dr. Hartman himself.
Awesome place! Would not go anywhere else! The staff & Vets are great! They are awesome to my dogs!
