There is also a "Faby's 2" downtown with the same menu (but possibly better ambiance.)
Don't be put off by the fact that they serve 2 types of food. It is sometimes off-putting in my mind when restaurants do this, because I fear that they may not have devoted their full attention to either. Let me assure you, this is not the case with Faby's. Both menus have phenomenal fare.
I liked the coziness of the restaurant. Our server was great. I ordered "my usual" combo dinner that I would get at any other Mexican restaurant. The flavor was much better than other places I've been to; the cheese in my cheese enchilada-not what I expected. Lol it was shredded cheese, not the white cheese other places used. It wasn't bad, just not was I was expecting. My tamale was GREAT, as well as the salsa. I would definitely go back and try another dish.
I ate... I paid... I saw expiration dates on the bread in the counter... never going there again. Food was ok but expired food should never happen in a restaurant! I dont even want to know what we cant see behind the scenes!
If you are not familiar with this Conway staple, you are truly missing out. They have arguably the best Mexican (and Italian) food in Conway. Meals start with the traditional chips as salsa, then after ordering, you are given delicious tortilla soup. Be careful not to fill up too much, though, as the main dishes are quite large and equally wonderful. I have never had a remotely bad experience here.
Best place in Conway if you ask me. I have eaten there numerous times and never had anything bad. Service is top notch, friendly and fast. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed and will be a frequent customer.
This is such a great home-in-the-wall! The food came out fast, and was delicious. The staff are also very kind. They do just about everything here, from sandwiches to Mexican food.
