Great place for family fun, couples, with your friends or on your own. Tons of trails for biking, hiking and walking. Great views of the river and places to sit and enjoy nature.
Took family pictures here. Lots of people there when we went.. but it is a beautiful place to just go visit and an even more wonderful place to take pictures at.
Love this park on the Arkansas river. The historical offerings are unique and interesting to the area. There are trails that mountain bikes share with hikers. Stick to the beaten path because the woods are full of ticks. My dogs always come back with several!
Really nice discovery on our journey back to city. Looks like the mountain bike trails get well used. The lake overlooks are very nice. Lots of picnic tables...i hope they all get used. I'm sure the boat ramp is a huge draw on the weekends. The historical structure is really nice and provides just the right amount of learning experience for young ADHDers.
Bring back the camping and I might rate it higher. Good trail for kids, good launch ramp that isnt usually busy. Nice historic park that is well kept.
