We went to toyota to buy a car, the agent in toyota working for car mart referred us to this Pathetic place and the cars that u get is a piece of garbage.... they sell u junk for which u might have to regret. So be wise before making a decision atleast take your time to see if everything is working before you buy car from here.

Would stall out if I came to a stop if I had the A/C or Heat running

EDIT: Matt, the GM, told me that the "responsible" and "adult" thing to do was to fix the vehicle, since "when you sign the paper work the vehicle is now yours, not ours!" Kind of funny considering that they repo'd it! LOL the entire experience was absolutely garbage. Oh and to add even more to the issue the first vehicle I got prior to the envoy was a Nissan Maxima, the seat belts did not buckle in the rear, the radio did not work at all, the windshield was sealed with clear caulking, and the head gasket blew after having it for approximately 12 hours........when I said I wanted to trade it for the Envoy they told me they would fix the Maxima.....but only the head gasket and seat belt because that's all that was on warranty......they were pulling the ol' "that's not under warranty" card not even 12 hours in!! PLEASE GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE!!!!!

Car had an extreme shake when above 50mph (had it aligned, did not fix the issue)

Miss in the engine (replaced plugs and plug wires and still did not fix it, took it to autozone to have the codes ran, was told that the computer on the car was corrupted and would not throw a code only an error code)

Had to replace brakes and calipers within 2 months

Honestly can't even explain how terrible of an experience I had with the absolute piece of garbage vehicle they sold me. Within 6 months of signing the paper work, I had so many issues with the GMC Envoy I was sold that I honestly had zero care for the vehicle anymore! They did not budge a single bit on helping me! I had an issue with the "oil sending unit" within the first couple weeks of getting it......had to pay them $50 for them to even start work on it......then I get the vehicle back and the problem was still there...told them about it, they told me that in order to do another diagnosis I would need to pay ANOTHER $50!?! And this wasn't even the tip of the iceberg with issues I had with them.....I told them over and over again that I needed help getting the vehicle fixed otherwise I would simply drop it off at their lot come tax time and would go elsewhere......was TWO DAYS late on a payment and refused to talk to them due to their constant ignorance. So they showed up at my job site and repossessed my car......then had the audacity to ask if I wanted to come in and make the payment and get the car back! LOL!!! I would NEVER go to Car-Mart again in my life!! I told the woman that I was left stranded and couldn't get to work numerous times in this vehicle.....she seriously replied to me with "I would walk or ride a bike to work if I had to!" I told her I'm not paying $400 a month to be walking to work jack ass!!!

Shift lock sylinoid went out so I could not remove my key from the ignition, had to pop my hood and remove my battery cables every time I stopped for more than 5 mins otherwise the battery would drain dead. $485 fix that I couldn't afford.

Low beam headlights would not work

Long story short, once you sign that paper work, their view is that THEY are the customer. They care about nothing more than getting their payment......I mean it should tell you something if you can bring in a box fan and leave with a car for $200. LOL

This is a best place to buy you card. I have a good experience there

Back suspension was ruined

These were not issues that appeared slowly over time. All of these issues happened within the first 4 months of having the vehicle. I told them of the problems literally every single time I made a payment. And got the same standard "we can fix it if it's under warranty for the $50 deductible" and considering I had already went through that process once and did not have my issue fixed, along with the fact of paying $400 a month, I didn't have the funds to keep dropping $50 to them for them to just rig it up for a while and not actually fix it.

Windshield wipers would work only half the time

These people will rip you off every time!! Don't get snared in their trap!

This is going to be a very long 3 years dealing with the staff at CarMart in Conway. Now I see why everything I've heard about them is negative. I have yet to hear one person say one good thing about them. But I chose to give them the benefit of doubt . They are very nice while pitching to you but once they've sold you... Attitudes flare. With the females at least. The male employee still gave mW respect. SHAME ON THEM....
